The singer Chiara Raimondi and the accordionist Markus Korda meet in 2019 to form the Duo Malikì. The foundation is their different musical backgrounds: Chiara is a jazz singer, Markus devoted himself to various folkloristic traditions.

The shimmering colorful repertoire arises from that very amalgamation: Heart-touching rebetiko from Greece, vivacious tangos, melodious Musette, swinging gypsy jazz as well as traditional and popular music from their home countries Italy and Germany.
